Specific projects include designing aesthetically sensitive prescriptions for fuels treatments in recreation areas, and the development of silvicultural systems to reduce fire and insect susceptibility.

ERG has experience with modeling how changes from mountain pine beetle, other insects, disease activity, and wildfire might affect forest landscapes.

ERG coordinated the reclamation of a temporary access road constructed by Montana Rail Link across property owned by Plum Creek Timber Company.
