ERG conducted ecological site and similarity index surveys and prarie dog town mapping to develop a grazing management plan in South Dakota.

Agriculture

ERG’s agricultural expertise is an outgrowth of family farming, university study, and years as conservations for the National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).  Our clients include several large ranches for which we have performed one-time projects (e.g. conservation easements, water rights planning) or long-term relationships (e.g. riparian monitoring for Forest Service or Plum Creek grazing leases).

 We maximize operations and improve stewardship using:

• Range management plans
• Conservation easements
• Off-stream watering for cattle
